Welcome to....the INTERNET ZONE!

I just went to my loan consolidation website to get a phone number and clicked on "contact us." A little pop-up warning came up that said "You are about to send information to the Internet zone. Do you want to continue?"

Haha. I wonder if W wrote that.

P.S. I just wrote a letter to OCS at my school, saying more or less the same thing I wrote in the last post, but replaced "suck me" with something a little less crude. Anyone taking over/under bets on how soon they'll respond?

My bet: never.

damn it. i have to do my loan consolidation. on my list of things to do today.

we have a practice MPT to do tonight, plus MBE questions for Criminal law, PLUS outlining Crime Essays 1&2. WHERE DO THEY GET THE IDEA WE HAVE TIME?????

Okay, I'm done yelling at the computer and the comment box. I am a civilized, young lady. On my to-do list.

i feel your pain chai. i hope you don't actually have any legitimate questions about your consolidation process, because, if you're as lucky as me, you'll spend over an hour on the phone with three equally unhelpful and borderline-rude people.

and what else?? not only didn't i get my original question answered by anybody, but i came away with a new problem - i found out f'ing sallie mae has been "sending" me non-existent emails since MARCH telling me i owe them money NOW for my undergrad loans, and now owe them late fees plus a couple hundred dollars. even better, when i said i needed a deferrment, they kept demanding to know why i wasn't on the unemployment rolls. soon enough, okay lady!! ARG!!!

I did all that consolidation shit a few days ago. Four separate phone calls, b/c I kept having questions that were answered nowhere on the website (why wouldn't they have a FAQ to keep people from tying up their phone lines with really really simple questions?). Each time I had to wait about 45 minutes on hold, and each time the person answering incredibly rude. And I secretly believed they provided me with false information. I hope my loan went through.

false information worries me a lot, too. like, they'll tell me something and i'll send my application in based on that, and they'll send me a letter of denial back saying "sorry, in YOUR particular situation, the rules are different," causing me to wage war on the entire loan consolidation industry.

Internet Zone = (Highway to the) Danger Zone.

Okay, now I have "Top Gun" on the mind (mmm...volleyball scene.) Somehow I blame you for this, Heather!
