The other day I was in the metro and saw an ad for a school: UMUC.
It seems that stands for the University of Maryland University College.
No, I'm not kidding. It could only be better if it was located in College Park.

Ooooh! I've been meaning to post about that for about 3 weeks, but never got around to it!
Something tells me that if you have use 3 terms which mean "institution of higher learning" (and use one of them twice!) in your name, maybe 1) your school isn't that great and/or 2) you're not looking to attract the best and the brightest anyway.
Yeah, when I saw it I thought, "I hope they're not advertising for their English program...."
