Art Bonanza!
In the past two weeks I've been to:
The Fraser Gallery
The Lincoln Theater - "The Good Body"
Fusebox
Hemphill
The Arlington Arts Center - "Deja Vu - A New View"
"Capers" (theater)
So, I have a lot to write about. Expect pictures and detail soon.
Also, tonight, I went to the Wonderland Ballroom and I have one word: HIPSTER.

for someone complaining about money, i hope all of these events are FREE! :) wow.
Yes, that's kind of the point. There are a million things you can do in the city that are free or very inexpensive. Galleries are free, local plays are often under $20 (the two I went to were both $10).
DEETS DEETS DEETS! I read Chai's blog, but of course, you two being my most favorite bloggers (who are only enticing me with DC in your every post), I want MORE MORE MORE!
P.S. - Yes, lovely about DC that things are free and cheap. Nation's capital, tax dollars, that'll do it. Grrr.
I dunno know if it's actually the tax dollars or if it's more like private grants from art endowments that make most of the museums free (i.e., the Mall museums)....
But, I think we have been hitting up things that are socially conscious and aware, which generally are low budget. And sometimes we fudge and forget we are no longer students (love me those student discounts)!
oh i keep that expired studnet id handy. you never know.
as for wonderland: holy columnbia heights mecca of all things yuppie: including that umtimate scenester lovage that is kickball. their players were all over the place, tracking potential mates. awesome music though . . . . . .. ......
